Missouri legislation rarely provides us with a glimpse of the future, but that is exactly what new legislation in the Missouri House would do. 

Currently, the average food item travels 1,500 miles before reaching supermarket shelves, releasing greenhouse gases on the way. Fertlizer runoff from industrial agriculture into the Mississippi River has created a 3,300 square-mile dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico, where plants cannot grow and fish cannot live.   [Read More]
